Asbury University (AU) is a Christian, liberal arts university in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition but is a non-denominational school. Degree programs are offered in more than 50 majors and 38 minors. Undergraduate majors are divided into three distinct schools, College of Arts and Sciences, School of Communication and the School of Education. Eastern Mennonite University was established in in 1917 and is located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. EMU serves up an academic program that is heavily weighted towards the service-oriented professions such as healthcare, education, social work and ministry. The undergraduate, graduate and seminary programs are taught from a distinct Mennonite Anabaptist perspective with a strong emphasis on cross-cultural awareness, care for creation and service to others.
